Alice in Wonderland, Inception and Iron Man 2 were nominated for the People’s Choice Award for favorite film in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Also in the running for the top movie prize are The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Toy Story 3.

The nominees for favorite movie actor are Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Vying for the title of favorite movie actress are Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Katherine Heigl and Kristen Stewart.

Shortlisted for the favorite action movie title are Iron Man 2, Kick-Ass, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Robin Hood and Salt.

Earning nods for favorite action star are Angelina Jolie, Bradley Cooper, Jackie Chan, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr.

Up for the favorite drama movie honor are Alice in Wonderland, Dear John, Inception, The Social Network and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Nominated for favorite family movie are Despicable Me, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek Forever After, The Karate Kid and Toy Story 3.

The nominees for favorite comedy movie are Date Night, Easy A, Grown Ups, Sex and the City 2 and Valentine’s Day.

In the running for favorite comedic star are Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Steve Carell, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell.

Winners will be announced during CBS’s live broadcast of the People’s Choice Awards 2011 ceremony at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live on Jan. 5.
